Carolyn Rabb Tax Services has provided the Johnson City / Jonesborough area with professional and personal service since 1982. Carolyn Rabb
Carolyn Rabb Tax Service opened on September 1, 1982. With one room in Carolyn’s home, she put her first ad in the newspaper. She soon added her first bookkeeping client, who is still with her today. In October 1990, Carolyn turned her garage into her second office. As the years have passed, the business has grown to include a highly qualified staff and a new office building. We have four offices, a reception area and a large waiting room with TV just in case you don’t want to miss your favorite program. Also, at last we have a parking lot that we had needed for years. Currently located at 3441 McKinley Road, Johnson City, TN 37604. A brick building with a white porch. Just come out McKinley Road and you can’t miss us.
Stephen Trexler
Stephen Trexler joined the team in 1996 as a tax preparer. A veteran of the Army and previous auditor for a large chain shoe store, Steve brings a great deal of experience and expertise in tax preparation to our team.
Sarah Rabb
Sarah Rabb works part time in our office. You’ll find Sarah stepping in during tax season, and on Saturdays. Sarah has been an important part of the team since the beginning, and while she enjoys working along side her mother, she especially enjoys the pride and care taken with each client.
Cathy Shoun
Cathy Shoun has been working at the front desk since 2020, but has also been a 20+ year client of Carolyn Rabb’s. When she’s not working, Cathy enjoys being outdoors, hiking, kayaking, and paddle-boarding. She is also a proud dog-mom to two yorkies.
